Pirates Clinch Playoff Spot After Victory Over Floresville

The Pirates clinched a playoff spot in a close Homecoming win over the Floresville Tigers last week.

October 20th was very exciting under the Friday night lights with QB Sean Howell scoring late in the fourth giving the Pirates a one-point win.

The game started off slow for the Pirates at 21-10. In the second half, they picked it up and came back to win  22-21, making them fourth seed in district. As of right now the Pirates are expected to play the 6-1 Alice Coyotes.
