Pirate baseball has started things off hot, as they have moved to an overall record of 7-4 on the season, as well as going 3-1 in the Best of the Bay Tourney. Their current pitching rotation has managed to give opposing teams problems as Sean Howell, Case Patterson, and Evan Richardson have been able to leave many teams in the dirt. The batters are led by Isaiah Elizondo, Dawson Phillips, as well as Jordan Gibson, who have made it difficult on opposing defenses they’ve played so far. The Pirates are currently in the Falfurrias Tourney, and so far have posted a 2-0 record through their first day of play. The Pirates will be playing Friday at 12PM in Falfurrias, as well as Saturday with a couple of games still yet to be determined.
